Wine Bar

Stuttgarterplatz 21, 10627 Berlin-Charlottenburg

Typical old fashioned Berlin corner bar from the ‘70s is transformed into a contemporary wine bar. The basic functional distribution of the bar with the counter in the entrance area and the bar-tables organized around  the bar area remains. However, the new counter with its rough character is to be a new visual centrepiece of the bar. Dried tree trunk is used for the top part of the counter, while other visible surfaces are covered with hammered tin sheets. The handmade Chambrair is positioned  on the opposite side form the entrance and is displaying the bars wide selection of wine. U-shaped steel profiles and cut pipes are used as lighting elements. The rough wooden floor, the concrete ceiling, the exposed brick walls and the visible red electric lines give the room an archaic originality that pleasantly distinguishes itself in its authenticity from the old `70s look.
