The building structure is subdivided into two parts due to its dual functionalities. For that reason, the entrance-, exhibition-, training- and management section orients itself towards the opposite forest area, and the architectural less-costing and less-complex warehouse section orients itself towards the slope of Bundesstraße No.101 with one double drive-way directing to Parkallee. In order to optimize the utilization of the building site, the building is in accordance with the minimum boundary setback, thus is positioned with the biggest possible dimension. The view axis is similarly ensured just like the receipt and the delivery of goods area towards the street side.
The architecture should clarify the urban planning concept. For that reason, the urban-planning concept shall articulate the separation of the two building structures on the façade. For the articulation of this separation, the entrance-, exhibition-, training- and management- section is with one transparent column and beam construction in the east and with one clinkered façade in the north towards receipt-of-goods area, which is more costly built than the light-metal-corrugated-disguised façade in the workshop- and-supporting area. On the interface, the building in the eastern area sets back with one shadow gap.
The eastern façade area comes with a large glazed portion for the purpose of a most transparent possible visual reference. The northern area is closed up due to the climate and function reasons. The overhanging roofing provides weather-and-sun protection, as well as an individual touch. The prefabrication of the steel composite construction is 30% cheaper than the conventional brick structural work. The savings could then be used for the under-floor radiators in the exhibition extension area, for partial parquet flooring, for multiplex white beech doors, for one armoured glass and lamella construction as a half-opening separation wall, for one steel staircase construction with multiplex-white-beech stairs, for the stainless-steel-perforated steel plate covering the heating radiators, for fittings and handles in brushed stainless steel, for double-covering shadow-gaps-plaster-board partition wall and ceiling, for radiant ceiling panels in the warehouse hall, for introducing one high-grade lighting concept, as well as the matt metallic colour painted surfaces.
